Warp any website back to 1998

A free time machine for the World Wide Web.
Give it the address of any modern website. TimeToWarp reads the live page, works out what it is really about, and rebuilds it as the homepage it would have been in 1998.
Animated GIFs. Marquee tags. A visitor counter. Hand-coded HTML, not React and not Tailwind. It's for anyone who still misses the old personal web.

Every AI-generated site looks the same.
Gradient hero. Three-column features. Testimonials carousel. Purple buttons. It's like the entire web took a single design class taught by a robot.
The web used to have personality. Every GeoCities page was different because a real person made it, in Notepad, at 2 AM, with too much enthusiasm and not enough taste.
TimeToWarp is a love letter to that era, and a quiet protest against the future we're building.
Same site. Different century.

Warped pages are an artistic reinterpretation, not copies and not the companies' own sites.

Questions, asked frequently
Is this actually free?
Yes, totally free. Like Hotmail. You can warp up to 5 single-page sites and 1 six-page site per day at no cost, with no signup and no email harvesting. Browsing the gallery has no daily cap.
Why 1998 specifically?
Because that was peak personal web. Before banner ads ate the soul of the internet and before SEO killed the experimental homepage: Netscape Navigator 4, GeoCities neighborhoods, WebRings, MIDI files, hit counters, and pages built by real people in Notepad.
What's GeoCities?
A free web-hosting service launched in 1994 that gave anyone a homepage in a themed neighborhood like SiliconValley, Hollywood or Tokyo. At its peak it hosted over 38 million pages, almost all hand-coded by amateurs. Yahoo! bought it in 1999 and shut it down in 2009.
How is this different from other AI site builders?
Those tools build modern web apps in React and Tailwind. TimeToWarp builds 1998 web pages in hand-coded HTML with vintage assets. They're trying to make the future. This is trying to remember the past.
Can I use the generated HTML commercially?
The HTML and copy the AI generates are yours, including for commercial use. The vintage GIFs are a different story: most still belong to their original 1990s creators, so swap in your own assets for commercial projects.
Am I violating the original site's terms by warping it?
Probably not. TimeToWarp reads the publicly visible page once, the way a search engine crawler does, and produces an artistic reinterpretation rather than a copy. It is parody and commentary, so don't pass a warped page off as the real product.
